There is not going to be any basketball in the New York City area for quite some time, either the Liberty or the Knicks. Or at Fordham, St. John's, St. Francis, LIU, Wagner, Seton Hall, St. Peter's, Rutgers, FDU or NJIT, either.

Wow, forgot about Columbia, and Iona too, since New Rochelle is close; Rider and Monmouth too. Marist, Army and the Connecticut schools might be outside the bubble. Don't really follow the DII and DIII schools.

What about the mighty Manhattan Jaspers? Yes, forgot them too. Tons of colleges in the NYC area. BTW, Manhattan College is in the Bronx.

Whoa ! #1 and #2 from same college team. Has it ever happened before in any sport?? Oops, apparently this is 4th time it’s happened in WNBA draft, alone.

Former Oregon guard Maite Cazorla and Mikayla Pivec at Atlanta. Going to be great team mates.

I wonder how often someone taken around where Pivec was makes an WNBA team?

There are legitimate questions about Mikayla's game translating well to the WNBA. What is not in question is that she's going to be very successful at life in general. Good luck Mik!
