Both McDonald and Dunn forest's are closed to recreational users.
This is getting frickin' ridiculous. Campgrounds are being closed or just not opened this year. Parks are the same.
Today I saw someone in the medical field get proof of employment when she asked what it was for the response was to show to the police when she got stopped. It was like they were expecting curfews. It is also a misdemeanor to not cohere to the social distancing by having functions that ignore it.

I read back to back articles yesterday. 1) Going to release convicted criminals from prison due to corona 2) May be arrests and jail time for citizens not following social distancing guidelines. Seems like the whole thing has been pretty well thought out and measured responses given...

Most likely, if you are stopped by police for violating the stay-at-home order in Oregon, you will be given a citation, rather than arrested and detained. Fine is $1250.

I'm not sure how anyone would stop you? All one would say is that they are doing essential business... grocery, bank, pharmacy, take out food... businesses allowed to stay open. Now those that say are in the skate park can and will be eligible to get ticketed.

Our corporate attorney sent us all letters to show the police if we're stopped. The farrier is afraid to come because he isn't sure if he's "essential" or not even though Agriculture is considered esential. The guy we get out hay from trucks it over from Eastern Washington every week. He's concerned that the WSP will stop him. Its a messed up world right now

Gotta generate the revenue from somewhere!

The police are too few to do anything but deal with the most serious issues right now. So I would say to the government from city on up, don't put penalties up unless you have the means to enforce them. Having said that, people need to use common sense - and I know several who have zero.

Deschutes County sherriff says no fines or citations for now. Expects voluntary compliance. If that fails, they will reconsider.
