According to a retweet by Beav Recruiting, WT and Co. have interest in 6-0 ft Binghamton Sam Sessoms. The sophomore averaged 19.4 ppg, 5 tog and 4.8 apg this year. Couldn’t see any obvious connections to Beavs and supposedly has interest from Penn St, Rutgers, Marquette, WSU and St Mary’s among others, but who knows.

Looks like also have interest in grad transfer Matt Moyer from Vanderbilt. Other than being experienced and 6-8, 230, don’t see the appeal — 12 mpg, averaged about 2 points and rebounds per game, and lousy shooting stats from everywhere. Maybe he plays great D.

Seth Berger's UMass stats weren't much better but he ended up being a pretty useful player here. And he actually got his MBA in economics, I believe.

On Moyer, Dastrup and Berger are who came to mind too — replacement for Dastrup and hopefully can contribute some like Berger. Seth’s stats were slightly better than Moyer’s — especially FG% — albeit against lesser competition. Moyer spent last two years at Vandy and his freshman year at Syracuse, so Pac 12 competition shouldn’t faze him. Again bit of an underwhelming pick up if they get him, but doesn’t mean he can’t contribute. And definitely fills a need

Considering the "Academic Problems"..... do we really need a 2.0? Do "we" really need any of these transfers that never really contributed elsewhere?

If I remember right he was huge in one of the Oregon games. Dastrop probably put equal emphasis on his conditioning and school work. For some guys the light comes on when they are 21 or 22.

Think OSU needs a but better transfers and recruits.
