Something that struck me immediately but I didn't want to say for fear of it being taken the wrong way. Mik is a cute girl with a lovely round face. That reminds me of.... Charlie Brown.   |

Something that struck me immediately but I didn't want to say for fear of it being taken the wrong way. Mik is a cute girl with a lovely round face. That reminds me of.... Charlie Brown. I don't see it. Especially the hair. And she is usually smiling, very unlike Charlie Brown. I don't think any young woman would like that comparison. On another note... Mik has become the local point person for advocating for another season for the winter sports seniors across the country. Heard her speak on John Canzano on his podcast yesterday. She hasn't given up hope and wants to continue her collegiate career. That speaks of what that experience has meant to her. |

Sorry Mik, but you played in 32 games your senior year. Yes, it sucks you lost your NCAA tournament, but that doesn't merit another full year of eligibility.
Besides, it would be impossible and unfair to legislate. WSU, Utah, Colorado players and hundreds of others completed their full seasons before the tournament was canceled. Do they get another year too?

Nice to know that werebeaver has a thing for Charlie Brown. What a blockhead! I don't have a "thing" for either the fictional Charlie Brown or the actual Ms Pivec. But I will admit to being a blockhead. It's a totally harmless comparison. It should go without saying that no human being "actually" looks like Charles Schulz' famous cartoon character. God help them if they did. (We once had a beloved MBB player that people nicknamed "Lester the Molester". Now THAT was embarrassing). |

This Charlie Brown post came from the same guy that took such great offense several months ago when I jokingly suggested that Ron Callan sing "California Here I Come" at Senior Day for the players from the People's Republic of California.
