Nope. A lot of it is how you finish. Limping across the line won’t get it. Actually, most of it is RPI, SOS, Quadrant 1 wins, and avoiding "bad" losses. Most of the experts currently show OSU hosting during the first weekend of the tournament. Oh, I’m sorry. I thought the question was directed at me, the reader, and asking my opinion. If it’s only down to a formula, a computer should be able to give us an answer right now.

Sorry if you feel that I slighted you. Not my intent. You are correct in that finishing 10-0 in your last 10 games would be ideal, but the selection committee factors in each team's entire body of work throughout the season as well as RPI, SOS, and the other factors noted above when determining its seedings. That is why most analysts currently still have OSU as #4 seed, pending the final results of the remaining conference tournaments. I tend to be an optimistic person, but I do think there is reason to be with respect to OSU's chances to host.

Stanford just did to UCLA in Q3 to UCLA to what they did to OSU in Q1 - leading by 19 going into the 4th ... that loss shouldn't hurt them at all.
Would love to see Stanford take the next game as well.

Beavs remain a projected #4 seed as of today. Results so far are breaking in OSU's favor.
Teams to root against going forward: Ohio State and TCU.

I looked at TCU's schedule. I just don't see it. You have to look real hard to find anything resembling a quality win.

With FSU's loss today, I think the Beavers hosting is all but a done deal. There really are not any teams left that can jump to a #4 seed. FSU was the last team.

Like Indiana? Exactly. Princeton, with only one loss so far this season, is another option as a #5. Have also seen Missouri State as a projected #5 seed. That would be an interesting rematch following the WNIT Championship Game last November.

I'd rather not see them! But, first things first. Host and get a good matchup vs a 13 seed.

Baylor goes down to a 50 RPI Iowa State team. Going to be an interesting tourney, and expect deep Pac-12 tram runs again.
