I think Texas A & M is one of the teams competing with the Beavs for a 4 seed in the NCAA tourney.... They lost today to Arkansas 67-66 in a nail-biter....
Chennedy Carter committed a foul with 8 seconds to go and A&M leading by one.....Arkansas player nailed 2 free throws to claim the 1 point victory.... GO BEAVS !!

3 straight losses for A&M. They haven't exactly been on a roll since Carter came back from injury. I really can't see them hosting at this point.

Arizona seems fairly safe for a top seed and hosting, but winning today is still a good idea for them. They've led wire to wire and are up 17 coming down the stretch.

That helps... assuming OSU wins, none of the following matters. But.. Others are: Indiana who has been fading, but a couple wins in the B10 and it could help them; SW Mizz ST... still think gaudy W/L, winning reg and the tourney title will mean trouble for some #4 seed; Princeton... don't see a tourney title there mattering to pass OSU unless they get beat handily by Furd

The 5 seeds, per Charlie Creme, were Texas A&M, DePaul, Missouri State, and Princeton. Even if the latter three win their conference tournaments, they won't be beating anybody particularly good to do so. Their having won the regular season championship is already built in to their current seeding, and the conference tournament is just more of the same. Arkansas faces South Carolina next, and that will probably be the end for them.
Even if we lose to Stanford, I put our hosting at 80% or better right now.

I think Northwestern was projected as a 2 seed, not sure how much they will fall if any but they just lost to Michigan in their first game in the Big 10 tourney. That certainly won't help them.

Really early, but UCLA and Iowa both off to awful starts in their games.
I have kind of a love/hate relationship w/ conference tourneys. They are exciting, but I think their importance is over emphasized. Many teams stand to lose more than gain from them.

USC was up as much as 21-5, but UCLA stormed back to take a lead. Now USC up 2 again. Pili got 2 fouls halfway thru Q1. Trakh rolled the dice and brought her back out to start Q2. Took a couple minutes but she got #3. Probably not a genius coaching move. They were maintaining their lead without her.

BS 4th foul in pili, defender was fully in the restricted zone.

I didn’t see the play but I assume that is what happened.

USC has looked fairly good w/out Pili. Back and forth we go. UCLA up 2 w/ 6 minutes left.
Iowa is just getting destroyed by Ohio St.
Kentucky beat Tennessee easily. The Vols do not have a Tourney worthy resume, but you know they'll get in anyway.

Arizona played pretty darn good and still lost to Oregon by 18. Ducks are just tough. McDonald went off for 34 but Ionescu nearly matched her w/ 31. Boley had a big game, covering for Sabally who never got going.

After an ugly, low scoring first half, Stanford is blowing the doors off UCLA in the 2nd half.

NC State beat Florida State today in the championship game of the ACC Tournament. Florida State is projected as a #5 seed in today's bracketology. A good result for the Beavs' chances to host. I think that OSU can beat both of those teams in the NCAA tournament.
Ohio State, a team with 11 losses but #1 in SOS, plays Maryland today in the Big 10 Tournament championship. We need to root for Maryland in that game.

Last time I watched them... shoot the 3 @36% as a team, defend the 3 @26%, +9 in boards. Not a good matchup at all.
