Mik sits at 1025 rebounds. Ruth holds the OSU record at 1027. In all likelihood Mik will break the record tonight.

Amazing, amazing career for Mik! Hate to see her go! Not just a great basketball player, but what an amazing person!
Mik as a freshman 36 games---180 rebounds
Kennedy Brown as a Freshman 174 rebounds in 23 games
Taylor Jones as a Freshman 231 rebounds and counting. 31 games so far, with a minimum 2 more games to go.
When Mik takes over tonight as the all time rebound leader at OSU, she should enjoy it while she can. Chances are good that a current member of the team will challenge that record over the next few years.

Now this is a record breaker who's picture should be proudly displayed in Gill's rafters. MBB scoring leader - Don't think so

What exactly has Tres done that makes him unworthy of being put in the rafters? Mik deserves to be up there too. Not trying to turn this into one or the other. Wiese and Weisner should also receive consideration.

National POY types not school record holders that can consistently change and what records count... FG%? FT%? Assists? Put up a record board area, not jerseys in the rafters!

Again, nothing against Tres and his accomplishments, but those jerseys in the rafters were elite game and program-changers. The winning percentages and stature of their teams in the college basketball landscape were rare. To be honest, in his short two-year stint here, GP2 probably fit that criteria a lot better. He elevated a roster of seeming mediocrity to two surprising seasons and our only Big Dance appearance in 30 years in his short stint. That would be a guy worthy of consideration had he been here even another year, IMO. As for the women that were named, I tend to feel like they were in fact those program-changing/impacting types for us that are worthy of consideration at some point. Not bashing on the kid, but just being honest about my own take on “rafter- worthy” impact. I could see an argument just because of the individual achievement (what tends to get more attention than scoring?) but the other guys effected our team and the game on both ends of the floor in unique ways. Tres...not so much.

Ok. I was talking about drawing his picture on the wall, not retiring his jersey. Think that got lost in translation.
