Ticket sales appear to be quite high for this week's tourney.... If you try to buy seats for Friday games, few are available (no good ones)...At least on the Pac-12 Ticket site...
It will be interesting to see if there are lots of no-shows this week.... Many people are cancelling travel plans because of coronavirus, so I'm intrigued to see if this will affect tourney attendance... A lot of WBB fans are seniors, and this is one of the "vulnerable" groups...
I'm not skilled at sifting out info on ticket sales, but I have a feeling that ticket sales will exceed game attendance - perhaps by quite a bit... Anyone have any info on this issue??? Thanks... GO BEAVS !!

There have been zero confirmed cases of the coronavirus that have been documented in Nevada as of yesterday. However, that could change quickly.
My guess is that the fear of a potential outbreak plus additional social distancing announcements will make their way to Vegas by the weekend.

There have been 163 confirmed cases in the United States. Since the population is roughly 330,000,000, that's about 1 case per 2,000,000 residents. I wouldn't think twice about going to Vegas.

Exactly, If a vaccine is two years out I don't think the average person could stay at home for two years and not go insane.

Cal is on a huge run against ASU, went from down 11 to up 9 in the blink of an eye. ASU completely melting down against full court pressure. Early Q4, still time left. It would hurt their seeding for the Tourney, but I'm always happy to see ASU lose, I can't help it.

Just wash your hands well (for at least 20 seconds) upon arrival and use hand sanitizer wipes that are at least 60% alcohol after touching public surfaces (ie. door handles, railings, arm rests on seats) and before touching your face...according to one report I heard today...

I doubt the place will be packed... try to sit away from congregations of fans... sit in isolated area. And if you are 60-70+ with other medical issues you should be staying at home more... this and the regular old flu bug is the biggest threat to those folks. I'm not sure any death (who knows about China) hasn't been someone already severely compromised and older.

Here’s a report from the arena, attendance looking pretty normal so far. The railing directly in front of me was probably wiped down and cleaned 7 times during the ASU/Cal game alone.

Today's confirmed case number is up to 197 with 12 deaths in US. I'm afraid that those numbers are likely going to get significantly worse in the weeks ahead. I would be extremely pleased if bvrbooster's call for calm is spot on and there is little to worry about.

Worst place for a community based epicenter....a long term care facility of elders.

The people least able to get out and get what they need for protection are the ones who most need it - those who are medically compromised and/or elderly. If otherwise healthy 30-60 year olds are out there buying all the hand sanitizers and face masks and stocking their closets while not thinking of their friends and relatives that are at high risk of severe complications or death, they have the wrong priorities. This virus has probably already been circulating in many areas for weeks now, and it's only when it catches hold of a group such as those living in a nursing home or on a cruise ship that it gets noticed. It would be truly awful if it turned out to have a 1%-2% morbidity rate, because that would be piled primarily on the aforementioned already compromised population - the percentage of morbidity in that group would be much higher to end up with an overall 1-2% average.
