The Beavs do have a chance to host the first two rounds of the NCAA tourney with a strong performance the next two weeks. Both the realtimerpi.com and Warren Nolan websites have the Beavs at #16 in the RPI today.
Realistically, the Beavs must win their final two conference games this weekend and win at least two games in the PAC-12 Tournament in Vegas to have a great chance to host.
We can also actively root against those teams currently slated in the #4 and #5 slots in the bracketology projections to lose in order to enhance OSU's chances to host at Gill.
Despite the team's 5-8 record in its past 13 games, there is a realistic path to earning a Top 4 regional berth.
Time to go get Washington tomorrow at 6 pm at Gill.

The idea of going 4-0 in the next four games seems very do-able for the Beavs....Anything less than a sweep this weekend would surprise every Pac-12 WBB pundit....That doesn't make it so, but it makes it likely....
Game # 3 is likely a re-match with WSU on the 1st day of the Tourney....Game # 4 is likely against UCLA.....That game just might determine if the Beavs host first round at Gill....
The girls are showing signs that they may be putting together an improved offence.....This weekend should help them in that regard....
So, really, the stage is set for an impressive end of season run for the Beavs.....Like beavershoopsfan says - the whole process starts tomorrow at Gill....
