Two areas that have been identified previously by posters as areas needing improvement for the Beavs throughout the season have been turnovers and free throw percentage. The Beavs showed noticeable improvement in those areas this weekend against the Bay Area schools. The Beavs shot 23/25 (92%) from the line and averaged 10.5 turnovers in the two games.
With the team's margin of error considerably less now with Kennedy Brown lost for the season, shooting well from the charity stripe and protecting the ball better may make the difference in a game or two going forward.
The Beavs are trending better in both of those important and often outcome-determining statistics, especially following the 44 combined turnovers in Los Angeles.

Some of the turnover difference is we were able to play basketball this weekend and not rugby.
The free throws are great!
