It's hard for me to look at this matchup objectively. I've followed OSU WBB going back to the Aki Hill/Tanja Kostic years and I'll admit I've developed a strong emotional rooting interest in this special group.
Coach Rueck is a master at finding and exploiting the opponents weaknesses. But what do you do against a team that has no weaknesses to exploit? It is going to take an exceptionally brilliant game from not only our big three but from Gabby, Deven and Marie to have a chance to win. And probably a bit of an off night from UConn as well. I just don't see all of those stars all aligning for us.
I hope I'm wrong
OSU 58 Uconn 74
(Too bad they don't have a national third-place game anymore.)

Villanova just shot 72% on the way to a drubbing of Oklahoma. If the Beavs shoot 72% and play defense, I bet they win! That's all it takes. Playing the absolute best game they have ever played. Anything less and it's likely an L.
Go Beavs!
P.S. edit - My 3 1/2 year old daughter will be watching. Her mother is 6 feet tall, and her grandfather is 6'8''. She is currently in the 98% at 3' 6''. Gotta get her interested early. You can't teach height.

In less than three hours, the Oregon State Women's basketball team will begin their epic battle with UConn. To borrow a line from the Husky coach himself: "If we play the best basketball we are capable of, is there any team that can beat us? NO!".
My prediction? After the game ends a 46 year-old Hillsboro native, who graduated from OSU in 1992, will gather his team at mid court and party like it's 1999. Today, Beaver Nation, we stand on the cusp of history. NC OR BUST!!!
