Mazon gave up one run and homered in B7 to send us to extra's where Long Beach executed and we didn't.
If you don't know the format for these OOC tournaments it's each team gets a runner at second in the eighth and beyond. LBSU went sac bunt, ground out to pitcher and then single up the middle to score.
We went sac bunt, strikeout, ground out to pitcher.
We had four hits for the game. If a hot baseball hitter see's softballs coming in our players are seeing baseballs or rather golf balls coming in. Our bottom 5! hitters are mostly hitting below .200 with a .250 in there.
UC Riverside up at 7:30.

It just isn't fair how they can get so good so quickly, not just in softball but in many things, while OSU has to go through a slow climb for success. I checked on how former 'you owe' coach Mike White is doing at Texas and the Longhorns are 15 and 1. 9! of those victories are run rule. Talk about have and have nots in sports. I'm not saying it will ever change because that's the nature of college sports but as a fan of a have not team it's just discouraging. |

We seem to play the same every a year. While our friends to the south can win and recruit we bumble along. It bugs Me that we struggle against Teams we should be better than. Our Team should be better, but no one seems to care if we are above 500.

Funny because She is well respected yet we play the same Year after Year. I did not go watch them as I expected the mediocre results. I winter down Here near Carhedral City. 20 miles or less. Surprise was great to go but this softball team has not shown it can beat team like Missouri so I stayed home. It is no privledge to watch them.. Wish it were better. It seems She cannot draw the best players toOSU. It Looks like the ducks have no trouble rebuilding. Their coach ran off players and took her lumps last year. Am sure facilities and investment have a lot to do with it. Do we really care?

Made the tourney I'm guessing four times. Can't look it up right now. I'm hoping we can apply the Ralph Miller program building process to her tenure. |

Gnaw, my biggest concern is exactly what you stated recently: good players disappearing to other schools. Please, Frankie Hammoude, be back in the lineup in Hawaii. |
