Slocum goes down and the team played hard. Great effort on the road against a top 10 team. Probably 3 more wins before pac 12 tourney. TO's are not really going to change with this team it seems. Let's hope for a sweet 16.

Well on a positive note, we are not losing because we are a bad team. We are losing because we are playing badly. We know of these players and what they are capable of. I wouldn't even say this is a young team, we have some of the best playmakers in the league. We will be a dangerous team for anyone in the playoffs.

The call on pivec was even worse if that’s possible it was the right call. As was the last on Taylor. She cleanly blocked it on top, but you can't continue to have contact in the midsection with bent arm on a shot attempt. Taylor clearly had her left forearm into the midsection. But, it's a shame that OSU could play that poorly well on the road vs the supposed #8 team. OSU did almost everything they could to have a split personality... score at will off the dribble when not turning it over. Play great team D to give up only 10 2nd qtr points, then allow open looks and 2nd chance points for 41 2nd half pts. Get key stops late then turn it over late to allow UCLA a last shot.

Refs forced 23 turnovers? And counting? Almost made it thru a tough game without multiple refs made OSU a victim posts.

Wow we had 24 Turnovers. Always has been Achilles heel. Too many open shots passed up. Great effort but we cannot use officiating as it is a constant. We missed free throws and were gassed at the end. He needs to change the offense. We had some isolation and it worked. Wish Maddie could shoot from 15 feet. She gets the Ball and it stops everything. Beat Cal at least.

Why doesn't Morris get more playing time? UCLA went small and maybe she could have done something against them. Several of the turnovers were just basic traveling calls.....can't a college basketball player figure out how to do a basic drive to the basket without traveling!?!?! And the lazy passes that turned into turnovers. I see a 9-9 conf record, 6 or 7 seed in Pac12 tourney AND the NCAA.

I wouldn't even say this is a young team, we have some of the best playmakers in the league. We will be a dangerous team for anyone in the playoffs. Most of our losses have been contested games where we just couldn’t execute. Our two “best” conference wins occurred because we did. I would have loved it if Destiny would have pivoted and shot the wide open 10 footer in the paint rather than passing to Maddie on our last possession of regulation. Though open, that’s not a great spot for Maddie to get the ball and she promptly turned it over. The loss of our 4’s was evident with all of the offensive boards we gave up last night. With the exception of Oregon, we were in position to be able to win all of the other games that we lost late. The Ducks are just too much for us this year, IMO, especially without Taya and now Kennedy as well. We are by no means a “bad” team. We are likely even a top 20 team even as we limp (literally and figuratively) to the finish. I’m just afraid that the reality is that we are not an elite team, so sloppy play and poor execution equals a loss most every time against really good teams.

So do you have them losing @ Cal, or losing to one of the Washington schools in Corvallis? Either would be pretty bad.

Washington was SHOCKED Slocum passed it to her. I would have been too. Slocum was wide open. Slocum should have shot it. She had separation from her defender. Sometimes I wonder if the message she is getting from head coach is that she needs to pass more. She will pass up quality looks when she should be shooting.

She’s due for at least a mini-explosion. But Lordy I hope that the TO situation v. Cal and the WA schools at least settles down to ‘bad’ (as opposed to ‘horrible’).

We got no shots up in the last 2:37 of regulation. It almost keeps me up at night so I can't imagine what this is doing to the coaches and players.

I really wanted to see this game, couldn't. Now I'm really glad I missed it, too bad but watching this now average, or slightly below team implode isn't what I want to observe. Sorry state of affairs to see what was a rising team slide off the rails. Just don't see them winning another 2 games, playoffs and big dance, might be embarrassing to watch. Sigggggghhhhh Okay. You are off the bandwagon. Let's not take shots at a group that is really down right now. The Beavs led by 14 in the third quarter on the road against the #8 team in the nation. I am sure that they are hurting right now. No need for us to pile on. Just don't watch or complain if you have given up on the team. Too stubborn to give up, never have, and been on the bandwagon likely longer than you have drawn breath. I also never heap praise on a team when they are playing at this level. The players know what we see,and real competitors aren't interested in accolades when they know things are sour. Played lots of competitive sports at pretty high level and always knew when I was stinking it up, and the Wbb team does too. This next weekend will determine if they will get back on the rails, or not. They are tight, scared to miss shots, or make mistakes, which leads to, more mistakes. They need to get out run bit and play loose, laugh and smile, and have some fun, which they ARE NOT doing now!!
