Notables
Rough game but it fit the 'good teams find a way to win' narrative. Were anemic all game with only three hits (only struck out once though) but trailing 1-0 in B6 scrapped out three runs to win 3-1. Proud of the fight for sure.
Grad Transfer P Trystan Melancon now 3-0. Mazon with the save.
Houston at 4pm.

There are zero reports on Frankie. Nothing leaked and zip from official sources. Of course, there is no real media coverage which might be a very positive aspect in this situation. I think you nailed it with your initial post on the missing star last week.

A couple more highlights I missed since I didn't dig deep enough.
In T6 with Dayton already up 1-0 they had runners at 2nd and 3rd with one out and the Defense pulled out a double play of ss to c to 3rd to kill the rally.
We then score three in the bottom half of the sixth and Mazon comes on in the seventh and strikes out the side.
That's good stuff. Wish there was video.

I think you nailed it with your initial post on the missing star last week. I've been checking the roster all week to see if she defected; hoping not. We've lost some pretty good players recently. Not in season of course but you never know. |
