One of my absolute favorite shows growing up was Wild Wild West. Combine with Richard Basehart and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Vic Morrow and Combat (my #1), Rat Patrol and Christopher George (and his hot wife Lynda Day... who was everywhere on TV)... It was TV heaven... |

When I saw your headline, I said to myself "I dare you to knock it off." Ha ha We must be close to the same age. I remember those commercials and even as a kid thought it was a little strange...I'd never seen a fight start that way... I saw a fight in high school (around 1984) where one dude struck a "dare you to knock this battery off" pose. The other dude took the dare and pounded him. One of my friends joked afterward that he was no Robert Conrad. |

Ironic how small some of these Hollywood tough guys are/were. Douglas and Conrad were 5-9. Cruise is all of 5-6, maybe. Alan Ladd had to stand on a box in love scenes.

According to sites, but who knows... others with a boat load of $$ to "stand on" Radcliffe and his Harry $$$$... 5'5" Dreyfuss has solid $... 5'5" Johnny Galecki more $$$ also ... 5'5" Harrington and GOT $... 5'6"... a bit disappointing to someone in the household! Hoffman is said to be 5'5"/5'6" Cruise... said to be 5'7", but he could have paid off the site? Wahlberg and Phoenix at 5'8" Plus loads of others... but, Didn't know: The 5'4" "class includes... Pesci, MJ Fox, Kevin Hart, and Charlie Chaplin Nor that Prince was 5'2"... frigging biggest 5'2" guy ever! Jack Black, Jonah Hill, Pacino, McAvoy,... 5'7" Tom Hardy would think far less $ to stand on than some others here... 5'9" Depp... does he have $$ left? 5'9" |

I laugh about the Reacher movies. In the books, he is around 6-5, 230 or so.
