RIP Issur Danielovitch. You lived one hell of a life. Not a real good cowboy name, is it? Neither was Marion Morrison or Leonard Slye He was a hell of an actor. My favorite Kirk Douglas film. Out of the Past (1947) with Robert Mitchum and Jane Greer

One of my all time favorite actors. Spartacus was an awesome movie and if you've never seen Lonely Are the Brave you should.

This won't mean much if you haven't seen the movie "Ace in the Hole" but it's one of the greatest ending scenes in film history.

Don't recall seeing Ace In The Hole - I'll have to check it out !! It was WAY ahead of its time in its critique of tabloid journalism but right on the money in 2020. If you thought Sunset Boulevard was a dark view of mankind, Ace in the Hole takes it to the next level. But as with all Billy Wilder films, it’s done with humor and humanity.
