Attendance was 7,111, and good for ASU getting that many out. Unfortunately for USC, that's right at 6,711 more than they're used to, and it probably shook them up a bit at the end.

When these 2 meet, I want both to lose. Just don't like either program. USC is really young, but they are doing their usual thing of not being very good in terms of record, but pesky enough to make some games interesting.

USC runs a minimalist offense, lot screens and when a shot presents itself it's taken.....They've got two big, thick athletic posts players (Overbeck and Pili) - they scoop up loose rebounds, they muscle effectively in the paint, and they get garbage points that more structured teams simply do not get...
They are energetic, athletic, and have one genuinely productive player in Indiya Rogers.... If a poll was conducted among coaches as to who is the least coached team in the Pac it would be USC......By a landslide.
As nwhoopfan points out, they are pesky - they are also disruptive, quick and tough...... A good coach easily could get 4 or 5 more wins with the talent they have on their roster..... GO BEAVS !!

Add Pili to your list of very "productive" USC players. Pili may be the top competitor this season to Taylor Jones for PAC-12 "Freshman of the Year" honors now that Haley Jones is injured.

Arizona came out absolutely on fire against UCLA. Up 27-16 after Q1, McDonald has 14 already. She's usually not very good behind the 3 point arc but she's hitting them tonight.

Arizona cooling off but UCLA isn't gaining ground. McDonald isn't scoring now but Sam Thomas has taken over. 40-22 UA w/ about 3 minutes left in the half.

Stanford not exactly lighting it up in Seattle. Up 32-22 at halftime. Dawgs started 1-13 and only scored 3 points in Q1. Thru 20 minutes, they have exactly 1 point from their starters. That is unbelievable.
Wazzu wins the lottery tonight, getting to play Cal. Up 47-32 at the half, Hristova has 20. Cal is gonna make a real run at going winless in conference this year.
