Pregame she lead the beaver team over to meet with the ducks players and prayed with and comforted them over the Kobe tragedy Pivec noted during the postgame press conference that Janessa Thropay led the combined group in a prayer. The Beavers have been dealing with the realities of life and death during the past three weeks as there were two life celebrations for prominent members of the Corvallis basketball community who have died recently that they attended on campus during January. Somber stuff for the young adults to be dealing with this month. |
