I think you are on to something here. Tudor scored 34 and 18 against the Ducks when she started her sophomore year. Goodman plans better coming off the bench and Tudor needs to be in there from the start. But Scott isn’t one to shake up the starting lineups once he has them established. Either way. Go Bears! Beat those #$&$§¥£. ducks

Couldn't decide between Washington or Grymek, and Thropay started a game or two. Also had at least 1 game w/ 4 guards starting + Corosdale, and that was mid season.

Coach Rueck hasn't had a starter return to action at OSU before following an ACL repair, so the handling of Tudor's minutes and her recovery is something new to him. He has to evaluate and speculate how his squad will respond best to whether Tudor or Goodman starts. I am sure that he is trying to figure out how to get another scorer on the floor based upon how the offense has struggled in the two losses. Goodman coming off the bench may be what she needs to read what is happening and figure out how to get the ball to her teammates in positions that they prefer. If Oregon opens in its aggressive zone, Goodman's ability to pass efficiently may be needed on the floor.

Need to give Jas more minutes. Jas was fast & furious in the 6 or 7 minutes she played. Made a nice 1-on-1 drive to the hoop and scoop. Also was great on the fast break.

Move Kat to the 3 position and Mik and Destiny take care of the backcourt. Aleah goes to first off the bench. I've thought that all along, and expected Scott to do it when Kat got back. Hard to break up a starting lineup that won the first 15 games, I suppose. But now would be a good time to make that switch. I agree with you about hard to break up a winning combination. Happened to me and buddy our sophomore years in baseball when we replaced two seniors in the middle of the infield who got suspended for conduct. We won without them. Until playoff time. We went to the bench, they were brought back, and we got drilled. Dance with the one who brung you until it quits working.

I seem to remember Brown saying that she really wanted to be able to play away from the basket when we were recruiting her. I could be totally wrong though in this recollection. I agree though. If she can develop an inside game, 10ft. and in, she could be DOMINATE, and immensely help our offense.
Go Beavs!

Go Beavs! there’s a lot of room between that 20’9” three pt. arc, and a true 10 feet and under inside game. Duck WBB team showed that yesterday with a number of 12-15 footers. Someone else mentioned early in the season when Brown’s 3 point shooting troubles were in their infancy: ‘how about moving it in a bit, at least for awhile’’. A dream come true (for me) would be Brown super-effective from 12-14 feet, where she’s still in good offensive rebound position, and also in a good position to kick it out to Destiny for a 3, or inside to Jones, for a ‘Jones’.
