I think it will be all we can do to not get waxed by the Ducks. They score in bunches and scoring is not our strength. No a good matchup in that regard. Maybe our D will slow them down enough to give us a puncher's chance.
Go Bears!

Brown going 1-9 is a big issue. Her inefficiency is puzzling, but has been a major issue.
I think Sasha will be similar to Lexie Hull. Long, defensive stud, and can score it.

I have no idea what game some of you are watching. That "foul" on Pivec was a complete flop by Prochtel who fouled Pivec first with an elbow across her face, and then threw herself to the ground AFTER Pivec was by her. Should have been a technical for flopping. The officiating in this game has been abysmal. Pivec drives the lane, their big comes over and knocks her 3 feet sideways... no call and Pac-12 commentators drool over the "great defense". This crew is either really bad, or forgot where this game is being played. It's like we were the road team today. They got away with a ton of banging all game long. Why? If you just get all amped up and run around fast do fouls stop being fouls? This game was terribly officiated. Not unusual in the Pac-12 I'm afraid. That said. We are going to find tough sledding in this conference if we don't find a way to play through the physical play. Especially if we are allowed to be banged around in our own gym. Lol.... oh my Cry more. OSU had the best player on the floor. The best TEAM won. Today. Excuse makers need not cry OSU plays more games.

No technicals for flopping in the women’s game.

The foul on Pivec at the end definitely involved some flopping by the defender but it’s going to be a pretty quick whistle when your arms come up like that and the defender goes down. I think they got it right by not calling it a tech on Pivec though. The other play you referenced the defender came in and got pretty good position before Pivec got there. It looked bad live but in the replay the defender got there. Pivec just ran into a bigger player.

We will get better. I think Feb will be good after we grow from our losses in January. Rueck excels at this imho.

Brown is really struggling from the outside and maybe should concentrate a little more down low. That and what I have posted before that they are careless with the ball, you have a recipe that won't work against the ducks. Hope I am wrong but it doesn't look like a favorable next weekend.

Combined 1-6 behind the arc from Goodman and Tudor doesn't help either. Is Aleah ever gonna get going this season? Hasn't had a good game since late November.

The call that I am still going nuts over is the call on Slocum that extended Stanford's long possession. The Tree player falls down and Slocum stumbles over her. Should have been at worst a "play on" as two players just got a case of the stumbles. The Stanford player had not established her position as she was still moving and was horizontal not vertical.

The last 2 minutes or so had quite a few questionable calls. Most of the game they let a lot go, then suddenly started calling ticky tack on OSU while letting Stanford mug the Beavs. But OSU just missed too many shots and played too poorly on offense, can't blame the refs for that.

It was actually the last 4:58. It was tied. From then on the zebras injected themselves into the game.

This team definitely doesn't handle a rough and tumble games well. Lost two games in which the refs allowed rough play. Better figure out a way to win those type of games or the script on how to handle the Beavers is out there.

Slocum and Pivec are very strong physically and are veterans. They should be setting the tone to play thru this type of game.
