How can she be top 100 if she ‘misses’ in so many Key areas ? I've seen her as high as #93, but with lots of questions about injuries and offensive game. She's a D1 project at a top 25-40 ish program. At Cal she'll probably start. Any of Fatou Samb, Dalayah Daniels, or Ugonne Onyiah will likely start ahead of her. All will be freshmen, but all are top-60 and probably more ahead of Heide. This is her HoopGurlz write up: “Low-post prospect brings imposing size, shot blocking ability; defends the paint, alters shots, rebounds and initiates the fast break; emerging offensive game offers soft touch in the key; mobile in uptempo game; a stock-riser in the class of 2020. (Olson)”

Like I said, I hope this doesn't come back to bite us. With 15 scholarships, I think we would have been well-served to take a chance on her, project or not. She looks to have a lot of upside. Sissel was a project too and she turned into a formidable player for us.

Or anyone have thoughts on why?

Other coaches, like Graves and Schaefer at MS State prefer 13-15.

Rueck has said he doesn't want to have players sitting on the bench who don't have a reasonable chance of eventually starting.

4 post players in one class for Cal? That probably means transfers. Ducks brought in 4 with Hebard's class and only 2 of them are left.

Thanks baseball - guess we can do better for our needs- but good for her. Always love to see Alumni children end up at the Legacy school...in this case, just wish her the best and hope she can avoid the injury bug .
