Never seen that on this board, but I’ve seen “Fire fill in the blank” on every other board on this site, didn’t want Scott to feel left out 😁

Scott has made a few recruiting gambles that if they worked would be a final four or more by now. He is destined for a championship in my opinion.. he has some really good wings coming next year with ht. He needs a legit press breaking PG though. He has some really nice pieces on board now. If AA plays next year he will have a very dangerous team!

Imagine if we'd had JM when our offense was stumbling in the first half against ASU, where you could probably get an uncontested lob into JM close to the bucket. Even if her speed is a liability getting back on defense, some offensive scenarios would surely benefit from her presence. She would be tough to guard. Fingers are crossed, hoping we get to see her against Stanford.

I'm really curious, the Beavs have lost one (road) game all season, but they apparently aren't that good (not Final Four level anyway) according to a number of you. Maybe it's the Pac12 that's not that good. Oregon lost to Arizona State (and Louisville), so obviously they are not Final four material either. Standford lost to Teaxs (who got beat by Hawaii, who were destroyed by the Beavs), so obviously they aren't final four material either. UCONN lost to Baylor, who lost to South Carolina by 15, who lost to Indiana by 14, so none of those teams are Final Four caliber either.
UCLA, though.....UCLA beat Indiana and UCLA remains undefeated. So they are Final Four level, but they are the only team in the country who is, so when it comes time for the final four, UCLA won't have anybody to play.
Of course, yes, I said all of this in jest. Looking forward to the games at Gill this weekend!

We are talented but not fluid in offense. Not hardly watchable Yesterday. We need better offensive execution.Maybe an offensive minded coach.

I ‘hope’ none of this talk is serious we are in a great position in the PAC 12 and, one of these years everything will come together ( barring injuries , etc. ). We are more athletic than we have ever been, especially with the bigs and if we can get the recruits that Scott and Staff are after - we will be in good shape. I still don’t like our defense - we are just giving way too much room to the competition. The offense functions well and, I need to understand better how the defensive effort takes away from the offensive effort. I watched Mikayla getting hammered all day yesterday and, when that double foul came up - that was the first time I have ever seen her display anger ... so, there must have been a lot of rough play . We’re fine and I am glad to support whatever the coaches put together. These types of games happen to everyone. Just look at what the men did to # 24 yesterday! A complete beat down of a quality team with a quality coach !

The good news is we have time. We need to be a #1 or #2 seed, and hopefully, we are seeded higher than Oregon so we can play in the Portland regional. The latest Bracketology has us as #2 seed, in Portland, where UCONN is #1 seed. I would absolutely love the opportunity to watch the Beavers destroy UCONN. Please let it be!

A complete beat down of a quality team with a quality coach ! Our defense is 8th in the nation in opponent's field goal percentage, 11th in scoring defense, 4th in rebounding margin, and 13th in blocks per game. In 4 conference games, we've given up 224 points. There's nothing wrong with our defense. With regard to Jelena, we've never seen her play a minute. How can she be regarded as the final piece to the puzzle? Same with speculating about Andrea. She's missed the first 50 games of her college career, and will most likely miss the next 50 as well. No sense bemoaning the toll injuries and illnesses have taken on us over these last 2 seasons. We've done pretty damn well in spite of them. We're 10-0 at home this year. Let's just see if we can't make that 11-0 on Friday.
