Pac-12 Season is upon us! The Utes roster seems to have some height - I note some 6'4" and 6'5" players listed..... Looking at their schedule, most of their losses came early and to reasonably high quality teams. I will confess to not looking in on them until now, but I see they dropped their Pac-12 opener to Colorado. The Game Notes are posted here. Astounding to see what "Mik doing Mik things" means - page 8 of the Notes, all of the places she has Top-10 standing on career stats! On page 6 the last time we beat a top-25 team on the road lists our win at Tennessee - I thought Miami (#18) game this season was at their place, was it a neutral site? I am looking forward to watching the game live, and then coming home and watching the tape delay on Pac-12 OR on Sling! Here is to a memorable 2020! Go Beavers!

A couple interesting notes about Utah:
Freshman Kemery Martin, who the Beavs recruited, had been starting for Utah, but did not start, and only played 3 minutes against Colorado. I should probably look this up before I post, but I didn't, so I'm gong to just guess that she had the flu, but there could be a number of reasons.
Daneesha Provo, who tore her ACL on the same day as Kat last January, has only returned to play for the past four games, playing between 8 and 16 minutes in each game. Her shooting ability has not yet returned, as she has gone 0 for 6, 1 for 7, 0 for 2, and 1 for 4, for a total of 2 for 19 field goals since her return. Just looking at that, we should feel really good about the progress Kat has made since her return. I feel a little bad for Daneesha, but she was granted an extra year, whereas Kat was declined an extra year.

Does anybody know anything about TV or streaming for tomorrow's game? I'll be going, of course, but a friend was asking.

Perhaps she wouldn't have made as good a Beav as I thought she would. She's averaging 3.3 PPG shooting 23% from the floor, 19% from three, and 38% from the line. She was thought of as an elite shooter out of HS.

Kind of unfortunate that opening night all 6 games start at the same time. Usually there is some staggering of start times it seems like. Only games being broadcast on TV in my area are Washington @ Cal and Colorado @ Oregon. Hopefully others will be available via streaming.
edited--not really the most compelling match ups to start; Arizona @ UCLA is the most intriguing game of the weekend I would say

When I was in Arizona we had our choice of more than one PAC 12 channel. Seems to me that option should be available here.

I have Sling and an optional sports package allows me to view all the Pac 12 games plus SEC, ACC, and ESPN.

Frontier in Seattle gives me 3 options for Pac 12--the National feed and Washington and Oregon channels. Still only 2 games being shown between those 3.

I have Sling and an optional sports package allows me to view all the Pac 12 games plus SEC, ACC, and ESPN. I have dialed back our Dish subscription to where I can add Sling + optional sports package without altering the financials much, and that (to your point) allows me to get all the Pac-12 channels. It seems like the only way to get to all of the Pac-12 channels (though I am given to understand if you can access any of them via your cable provider you can log on and view other regions?). Anyway, this year I also added Sling's "Cloud DVR" for $5 more a month so I can "record" the games and rewatch them. If the management (i.e. my spouse) didn't insist on a traditional TV watching experience, I would have ditched cable/satellite altogether for Sling. Tonight the game plays on Pac-12 Oregon after the fact, so I can attend live and then get a double dose....... Go Beavers!
