The officials didn’t cost Wisconsin the game - 4 stupid turnovers leading to 21 Oregon points, and 8 penalties killed them. Granted, the offensive PI was very lame - I’ve seen much more blatant “picks” going without a flag and I didn’t agree that the offensive guy had much choice with the way the duck defender grabbed him and locked his arms up - but the Badgers did themselves in, mostly by coughing the ball up 4 times deep in their own territory.
I will say this: The duck defenders fly around and hit hard. Their DBs as a group tackle about as well as any secondary I’ve seen this year. This is a different deal than they’ve had in a long time in Eugene. When you pursue that hard and are that sure when you get to the ball, you make your own breaks too. How I long for that kind of defense in Corvallis again. We’re progressing. Baby steps, but we’re getting better. What a difference playing stout defense makes.

Precisely why I like wearing my tOSU National Championship t-shirt with the score from the game on it. That was a peak year for the Ducks and they got humbled hard by the Buckeyes. Of course, Buckeye fans can be outrageous, too, but (most of them) live so far away. LOL! |

Pretty sure I wouldn't lose all grip on reality like their Blind fanbase! I have heard them say, and seen posts on social media from their fans today. They tend to think they should be in the "Natty (Barf)"- Lol. Reality tells me that the top 3 teams (Ohio State, Clemson, and LSU) are head and shoulders above All the other teams in college football this year! Could the -ucks compete with Oklahoma??? May'be, but Oklahoma obviously wasn't in the same league either. Reality also tells me that had Wisconsin (along with a little help from officiating) played without stupid turnovers at bad times, this game would have been a blowout win for Wisconsin. |

You guys remind me of that poster from PO who would always make up those elaborate lies about his encounters with duck fans in traffic or at dairy mart. Or the dude who would bust out his tape measure and track how many inches of articles the oregonian would publish on each team.
