Happy New Year to you all!
What's your all-decade team?
This is Steve Gress' team:

Technically the decade is not over yet. Let the debate begin anew.

Technically the decade is not over yet. Let the debate begin anew. Patricia Bright’s career is, though. Gress must be joking to have her on that list ahead of Slocum and McWilliams. Bright was a 2 year transfer who wasn’t even a full time starter. She blocked a lot of shots but otherwise wasn’t an exceptional player. Never made all-conference first team or honorable mention.

Happy New Year to you all! What's your all-decade team? This is Steve Gress' team: I’d give an honorable mention to all of the players who defected from Lavonda Wagner’s last squad and precipitated the hiring of Scott Rueck.

Locks: Gibson, Jamie, Syd, Hamblin, Gulich, Pivec. Next tier: Hunter, Hanson, McWilliams, Destiny (tough because she only has 1+ years).
Without her injury, Kat.

I'd add Sage Indendi before Bright. She gave Rueck a point guard already acquainted with his system. There was a definite drop in year three when she was injured.

I'll second the nod to Sage and also put Earlysia Marchbanks on my favorites list. Sage played with such heart and determination and her love of the game was apparent. Those early teams may not have had players that garnered the attention drawn these days, but they were instrumental to the success that the program now enjoys.
