I really like the way Slocum has been playing this season. She is playing like a point guard instead of a shooting guard. I noticed last year that she even scored better if she waited for opportunities to appear within the flow of the game rather than forcing them. Her game now is what will mirror her success at the next level.

Another good reminder for Slocum's teammates to continue to move and show themselves whenever Slocum, Goodman, or Pivec have the ball. Often, players stop and watch the ball and make themselves easier to guard. With Slocum, teammates who move into her line of vision may find themselves with an easy finish in the paint.
