My Grand Daughter wrestles on Varsity as a Freshman. Her first pinned opponent was against Camas. Was cool to see.

My buddy has 3 daughters ranked in the top 4 in state... Lol. His oldest won the national championship 2 years ago. He is having a great time watching his girls "chew up mats" as he puts it.
I think it's great.

Couldn't read it. They wanted $$. The main point of the article was that girls wrestling has more than made up for the drop in numbers of boy wrestlers. The separation of the girls out of the primarily boys set-up has really helped the numbers, and the separation at the state tournaments has been big for participation. Also, if OSU ever has a Title IX problem, add women's wrestling as the number of college programs is really growing. More programs in wrestling than competitive cheer or whatever the heck it is now called.
