I am a big fan of Ortiz. Plays multiple positions at Oregon State, and he never griped about the changes. Just played--and played well.
Undrafted, but has stuck with different teams. Cut by Atlanta after a preseason ankle injury. Caught a pass from Drew Breese for New Orleans today. Guy has brains and heart.

When I read the original post saying he was still in the league, the first thing I thought of was that I guess he's had to keep postponing his plans for the avocado farm. Poor kid. He already has the farm. He had it when he was at OSU. |
