4 teams are not enough. There are a handful of teams that would have given LSU a much tougher game but didn't 'qualify'. Funny how Dabo likes it at four. Sure he does, in case there's a good team out there that could get in and beat his ass.

I guess it doesn't matter. Oklahoma would have been exposed in some round whether it was 4 or 8 teams.

I do like the idea of 8 teams. But, my opinion doesn’t really matter because I quit paying much attention after the Beavers season is over.

4 teams is enough, with 4 conference championships serving as semifinals with the 64 Power 5 conference schools structured into 4 super-conferences with 16 teams each.
The current 10-team B12 scattered from NW Texas to West Va have no real tradition and should dissolve. Pac16 includes Texas Tech, Texas, Okla and Ok State. Iowa State makes sense for the B10 to join Iowa, and WVa by proximity to Penn State and Rutgers. Kansas and K State make sense for the SEC, cause they’re gonna want to keep scheduling some cupcakes in football. ACC already has the religious-affiliated schools with Boston College and Syracuse, so they take TCU and Baylor, until Norte Dame cries like a baby about being special, until they realize they’re going to have to join a conference and Gov Ann Richards isn’t around to save Baylor this time... 😁

I'm too tired (and lazy) to figure it ALL out....All I know is; there well be TWO really good, well-coached and talented football teams playing for the NC. Clemson and LSU are both FULL of good football players. It should be fun.

It will be interesting to see if they will have the strength and depth next week to handle LSU. Stay tuned. Great Fiesta Bowl game BTW.

Darn you Arizona State, we could have seen the ucks get a thrashing instead of Oklahoma That was my preseason predix for Oregon's Pac-12 title season. LSU would be dining in fine style with Cajun roast duck! It was like Neil Lomax as the PSU QB leading the Vikes to huge blowout wins to see the Tiger Heisman winner perform in the 1st half vs the Sooners, who are certainly no one's idea of chopped liver...
...until tonight!

Need 8 teams SEC-2 ACC Big 12 Big 10 Notre Dame At Large Pac-12 or 3rd SEC Why is ND a lock? Champ from each of the P5, highest ranked non-P5 school, 2 at-large. This is the platform I'm running on in 2020. That and "Do not reply-to-all in a mass email at work." Those two things.
