Off of that team and onto the present team? Or what?

On one hand it is kind of an absurd question (with all due respect). But to have a Senior Ruth Hamblin to combine with Kennedy, Taylor and Maddie to cover the 4-5 positions would be formidable as hell.

Would it be in respect to as they were when they played on that team, or as they are now? If it is as they are now it would definitely be Syd. She not only is better offensively in every respect but is also a top defender at the WNBA level. Or would it be as they were their Sr. season?

I'd take Senior Jamie over Junior Syd. I'd take Senior Syd over Senior Jamie.

Weisner because of her competitiveness...Syd would be a close second. Hamblin missed sooo many chippies inside 8 feet.

What would the score be between the 2016 final four team playing against the current 2019-2020 roster?

Our current team is loaded with premiere guards....good, but young, bigs..... If one player from the 2016 team were magically dropped into this year's roster the player who would be of the most benefit is Deven Hunter.....We need a power forward who can shoot, rebound and distribute... That's Deven.....
If Jamie or Sydney were added, who would sit? On the other hand, let's face it, Ruthie would be great in the post.......
It's too early in the morning for theoretical conjecture😎.... I'm getting my 2nd cup of coffee....🏀 GO BEAVS !!

This is an interesting question. I took it to mean as they were in 2016, not as they are now. My main criterion was which position on the current team has the least depth, and a secondary consideration was experience. I therefore eliminated the guard positions, as we start 3 of them, and they're all upperclassmen. So I think you have to choose a person who would add more depth and experience to the front court, and that's a tough choice. I cast my vote, but now I'm having second thoughts.

People who are voting for Wiese and Weisner are just waxing sentimental. Slocum and Pivec are at least as good as those two, so they fill the guard slots nicely. The only logical choice here is Hamblin. She had quick feet and provided rebounding and defense, even though she had trouble hitting a shot from 3 feet away. An imposing center is clearly our most obvious need right now, which is why we need a healthy Mitrovic. We can't make the final 4 without JM contributing because Taylor and Brown are 1) inexperienced and 2) not able to play all 40 minutes. We need that 3rd strong inside player, and Maddie is just too short to fill that need. So Hamblin is hands down the player we would like to have on this team.

Nope, you guys are wrong. It's Gabby. There just aren't any true bigs on other teams to worry about this season. But having a shut down defensive ace to sic on hot shooting guards! NOW we're talking!!

NOW we're talking!! I would have to go with Ruth - given how many points we are allowing per game, I really don't think there is anything we need on defense at the guard position, and even tho our "kids" at the post and power forward are growing by the game, to have a more mature Ruth in there along with Brown and Jones - you want to talk about teams having to chuck 3's from way outside the arc all night because they can't get within 15 ft of the basket, that would be the ticket.

I look at the intangibles that each player would bring to the table. Weisner was really competitive. Syd was a absolute star and leader. Hamblin was a defensive force, even though she missed tons of easy shots,Hunter brings toughness...

How does this matter. Too many fantasy types for Me. It does not matter. How about getting a player back that will really help?
