Top 5 teams in the Pac-12 a combined 53-2??? Are you kidding me??? We've got a great season coming up. take a look at our January P12 schedule.... Beavers have a good chance to be 14-0 heading into the game at AZ. I honestly don't see them losing to Utah and Colorado at home. Play well against the AZ schools on the road then take care of California at home (Friday Jan 17), and Beavers could even be 17-0 when they meet Stanford at home on Sunday Jan 19!! If the Stanford game isn't sold out, I'd be surprised. At worst, the Beaver's will be 16-1 before this game. You heard it here!

I agree that the Beavs have a real shot at 16-1 going into the Stanford game. As much as I love the Beavs, I think it is unlikely they when both games in the desert.
I'll be first to admit, I never fully get the RPI thing. I find it interesting in the NCAA RPI listed in an earlier post by newduke2 that Missouri State (a team I like very much) is #2 RPI, better than both teams they lost to. I also don't get UConn at #1 RPI. Guess I better look at their schedule.

For once, I agree with Werebeaver, but, I think if we lose in Arizona, it will be to Arizona State, not Arizona. However, I expect us to win our next 6 games, and be 17-0 when we play Stanford. Does a werebeaver just turn into a beaver when there's a full moon?

It's going to be a very fun season. Has Pac12 ever been this good?
Now the blockbuster showdowns are going be tough, but hopefully we have enough to not get caught by upsets and trap games.

UConn hasn't really played the "cupcakes," which is why their SOS is so high despite playing just one ranked team. They don't play teams like Northern Arizona, UC Irvine, or Utah State, etc. (I know a few of them were tournament games, but we have games like that on the schedule regardless), but instead play mostly P5 teams in the early going since they aren't in a P5 conference.
They don't play too many teams outside of the top-100 RPI in the non-conference, but they do get a few in their conference schedule.

Well, Southern Utah and UC Bakersfield are currently projected as tournament teams. www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/bracketologyUConn’s entire conference schedule is pretty much cupcakes - good for them on trying to get their RPI up best they can. The Pac-12 schedule is like a late tourney weekend much of the time.

Well, we can buy into the hype, or watch it happen. The Freshmen have been great, but, how will they do against the upper class teams. Anything can happen - nobody is going undefeated - that is for sure. By the time we hit the one and done tournament , we should have Jelena to help out, Kat fully recovered and both of the freshmen playing like Juniors .... plus, both Mikayla and Destiny continuing to perform wonders . Ready at the right time, for the big time ! Thanks Scott and Staff , Go Beavers !
