Wow! Tough loss for the Pac-12. I wonder if this might bump is up another notch on Monday?

#1 Stanford loses at a Texas 64-69.
Hawaii (who OSU beat by 32) beat Texas earlier in the season by 13.
Texas outrebounds Stanford 48-42.

Bad news for the Pac-12, but the game 1) shows Stanford is vulnerable again (ie. almost lost at home against Gonzaga) and can be be beaten. 2) OSU will probably move up to #3 tomorrow, unless South Carolina jumps them.

Poor shooting for Stanford. I'm feeling a bit salty, but trying to watch games when a team just can't put the ball in the basket is so frustrating to me. I bailed on this one early, didn't miss too much. I've watched Stanford several times, although they've been winning they look like less than the sum of the parts so far. Kiana Williams has been struggling most of the season and Dijonai Carrington has missed most of their games. They need both of them to be on track to live up to their potential.

Meanwhile UCLA took down #12 Indiana on the road by double digits - they are still unbeaten and will be moving further into the top 10.

I thought we might see Stanford lose at some point....but against a Texas team that lost to Hawaii? Didn't think that would happen. I did expect UCLA to lose at Indiana so that one surprised me. Now that easy UCLA Pac-12 schedule is looming even larger. I'm going to give UCLA a good shot at finishing in the top 3 in the Pac this season becuase they avoid 3 potenital losses by only playing Oregon, Oregon State, and Stanford once.

rmancarl - - got to agree with you that UCLA has kinda won the schedule lottery....It is somewhat tempered by the fact that they meet Stanford only once, but that game is played in Palo Alto.... Not having to make the trip to Oregon is far and away the best thing UCLA could hope for in their 2019/2020 schedule....
In addition, they are looking better as the season moves along....Their win in Indiana yesterday was fairly impressive as was their defeat of Georgia.....Close is growing as a coach. Getting beat in Corvallis the past several years has taught her a lot about how Rueck manages a tight game......UCLA will be a handful..... We meet them on a Monday night in front of a national TV audience..... GO BEAVS !!
