Arizona is certainly a much improved team, but I question how well they're going to perform in conference. When last I checked on December 15th, their strength of schedule was # 295 (just ahead of Utah at # 296). And winning the post-season WNIT last year? That's nice for them, but, really, it just means their fans get to chant, "We're number 65! We're number 65!" They haven't played any really top competition during this winning streak. I don't know who they play the first week of conference, but I assume it's on the road as they host the Oregon schools in week two. Reality could have come home to roost by the middle of January.

I've streamed a few of their games. I've been impressed w/ a Fr. from Spain, Pueyo. Good size on the perimeter, stat sheet stuffer, good 3 point shooter, she just seems to understand how to play the game. I could see her being really good as an upperclassman.

I looked up their early schedule: at Arizona State (10-2) next Sunday, then at the Los Angeles schools, then hosting the Oregon schools. We'll get a better feel for them after ASU, but that's three top ten teams, a sweet sixteen team from last year, and that rabid USC fan base.*
They could have 4 losses early on.

Hey don't knock USC's attendance! UW played at San Diego recently. Official attendance was about 400, but I don't think there's any way there were that many people in the building. It looked like barely over 100.

So their twin towers are 6'6" and 6'2"? They may have season under their sneakers but Brown and Jones don't play like freshmen.

USC's 700 or 800 is really bad. USD is just abysmal apparently.
oops, USC's attendance is down to 600 so far this season, but maybe they can pick up another hundred or two once they get into conference play

Where do you get the home attendance numbers for all the schools in the conference?

Where do you get the home attendance numbers for all the schools in the conference? Each school's individual site, looking at season stats. Attendance is down near the bottom of the page.

That USC attendance number must count players, coaches, referees, gameday security and vendors.

After you select a team, the next page has several options/tabs "Team Profile, Line up....Attendance" Might be a bit easier to compare. Go BEAVS.

Wow, Arizona not looking good today. Took a 10-0 run at the end of the half to go up 29-23. UCSB is 4-7. This should not be a close game.

sewingbeaver - - good tip on the Pac-12 stats site....Lot's of good info to be found there.. Interestingly, Beavs 3rd in conference in average attendance (behind Arizona & Oregon).... Perplexingly, near the bottom of the conference in FT shooting...Hope that turns around seriously in January.... GO BEAVS !!
