Missouri State has some trouble with Mizzou, but finishes them off to go 9-1. They play at Gonzaga next for a great test. After that, maybe only Drake on the schedule that can beat them.
UCLA was up only 2 on Pacific at the half, and stretched to only 4 with 3 mins in the 3rd before Pacific has a 5 minute dry spell. UCLA wins by 11 after that. McDavid had a rough game, 1 point in the first half and 0-5, finished 3-10 with 7 points. Surprised they hung with UCLA with her shut down.
DePaul went their 2nd game in triple digits over Alabama St. They are at home vs. UConn tomorrow.
In other news, Stanford is currently handling Ohio State, who gave UConn trouble and knocked off UL recently. Stanford at home is up 16 closing the 3rd.

I think Stanford is going to be really tough this year.

UConn is off and running, up 19-11 against DePaul about 7 minutes into the game. On the UConn board most of them think Bruno is a great coach, but I always just see an undisciplined team with poor shot selection. If you take enough shots some of them will go in but it very rarely is successful against good teams. This will probably be a blow out.

My goodness, DePaul looks awful. Trailing 55-29 at halftime. UConn is lights out and DePaul is ice cold.

They weren't much better here.
Not sure how anyone thought DePaul was that good. Other than wanting an opponent to increase OSU's stature, I see no reason to think that they are a threat to any true top 10-15 team
Or... not?! Maybe true Top 4-6? As UConn doesn't look like UConn of the past!

Wait a minute, DePaul is starting to make this interest. Cut the lead down to 14, still in Q3. Amazing what a difference making some shots can make. Big difference in rebounding too. Huge 29-9 advantage for UConn in the first half, now more respectable 37-18.

Uh...that 26 point deficit is down to 6. Wow, did not see this coming. 7:25 left in the game.

Yeah, DePaul got insanely hot for a while but hard to maintain that.
UConn should've been dumping the ball into Nelson-Ododa every possession, DePaul has literally no one who can defend her. She's 8-8 from the floor. 3 other starters have 13, 15 and 20 FGA.

I think UConn is extremely vulnerable to any TOP 15 Team that has a BIG that can defend Ono. Ono has some offensive skills, but a decent BIG that can hold her own against Ono, makes UConn vulnerable. I think Oregon will have their way with UConn, and it won't be close.

Only a 10pt UCONN victory? The boneyard must be mess! Haha. Lotrader, I have thought the same thing. The Ducks play there though and it will probably be closer than we expect.
