It took about 45 years for the identity of 'Deep Throat' to be revealed. Look for something similar with respect to information on Aquino - maybe only 20 years for Mitrovic.

FWIW - the rumor is that its a matter of the maturation of her thorax. I'm not a doctor, but I know that at puberty your ribcage goes through a set of changes, expanding to increase your lung capacity and I-don't-know-what-else. The rumor fits the facts pretty well - it would explain why she looks fit and can do a lot of the workouts, why the team isn't giving up on her and why she talks about being able to play in the future.

What can they say about any play-a?
HIPAA says they can't say much,
about who can walk and who needs a crutch.
Coaches have no reason to
let others know who has the flu.
So fans should not expect to hear
whether our 6'9 center plays this year.

"Benigno Simeon "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. (November 27, 1932 – August 21, 1983) was a Filipino politician who served as a Senator of the Philippines (1967–1972) and governor of the province of Tarlac. He was the husband of former Philippine President Corazon Aquino and father of former Philippine President Benigno Aquino III. Aquino, together with Gerardo Roxas and Jovito Salonga, formed the leadership of the opposition towards then President Ferdinand Marcos. Shortly after the imposition of martial law, he was arrested in 1972 along with others associated with the Communists' armed insurgency and incarcerated for seven years. He founded his own party, Lakas ng Bayan, and ran in the 1978 Philippine parliamentary election, but all of the party's candidates, including Aquino, lost in the election. In 1980, Aquino was permitted by Marcos to travel to the United States for medical treatment following a heart attack. He was assassinated at the Manila International Airport in 1983 upon returning from his self-imposed exile. The curious aspect of this situation is that ,if I am correct, she was able to play her high school games. My guess is that she could play at great risk. Coming into a D1 program probably brought a very, very thorough physical exam that picked up on an issue not previously known. |
