Can I just delete it?WAAAAAAY too similar to the original spygate scandal. Video crew directly taping sideline signals & resulting player substitutions, but claim they're there for a different purpose - just subcontractors who don't know the league rules. Belichick says the team has no relation to the video crew. Basically, all of the stuff you would have set up as your "cover" before hand. Could we see Bill get a suspension? The last time they just lost a draft pick and were fined several hundred thousand $$$. Clearly wasn't enough to deter them from going back to the well. Does this now taint EVERYTHING the Pats have accomplished over the Belichick/Brady era? It kind of reminds me of Barry Bonds - you're already the best, why do you need to cheat to try to dominate even more???

ummm, and how many "scouts" just simply sit there with their high end cell phones behind an opponent's bench and video everything these days. Who needs a film crew - that is what makes this too obvious to be totally intentionally spygatish. There are too many easier ways to make this happen than to carry around that kind of hardware out in the open.

It's the same reason you don't have baseball scouts in the bleachers with cameras stealing signs from other baseball teams - unless you're the Astros. It's illegal, and if you are caught, you lose draft picks and get fined! How about, because the league agreed to make it a rule, so they follow the rule? No, I don't believe advance scouts are filming sideline signals with their iphones.

The best argument of innocence?
It was the Bengals.

The best argument of innocence? It was the Bengals. It's actually a bad argument. Bengals coach is a rookie coach for whom Bill hasn't built a video database on. And of course for the fact that if they're filming the Bengals, they're obviously filming EVERY team.

If everyone else were doing it, it wouldn't ONLY be the Patriots who keep getting caught.

Being the father of teenage girls who tries to surpticiously grab phone pics of important moments, and being greeted with choruses of, "Daaaaad, Uuuuugh". I can 100% tell you that it is super obvious when you are taking a pic or video with your phone, no matter how clearverly you try to hide it. If anything the "subcontractor working on an unrelated video" cover is WAY better than a scout casually playing on his phone. Now, whythe Patriots don't just have all their scouts wear google glasses, is just Belichick not thinking outside the box enough
