Takes energy to play good defense. Hopefully as kat gets more minutes it will give aleah some rest she played a lot of minutes this year especially being hounded bringing up the ball. These drop the 3pt percentage along with the game needing to slow down for KB which it us. Can't wait for it all to start clicking inside and outside.

I appreciate the fact that the Beavs currently have the nation's top effective field goal percentage, rebound extremely well, and hold opponents to a very low field goal percentage among other positive team stats. Those have been the team's strengths for quite some time.
What surprises me is why OSU historically has not been better from the free throw line despite being very good from both the field and beyond the arc. OSU is shooting 66.3% from the free throw line through the first 12 games.
I would also like to see the OSU clean up its turnover totals. The team is currently averaging 16.0 per game. I know that opposing teams will aggressively pressure the ball at the top of the key in order to disrupt OSU's offense and try to limit our three-point shooting. However, I would love to see OSU players cut down on the number of one-handed passes that result in turnovers during PAC-12 play and value the ball more than we have seen during the nonconference season.
I know that a team can't be great at everything. But, improvement at the free throw line and a commitment to limit turnovers will make a big difference against the quality teams that OSU will play as the season progresses.

In a game between 2 very talented teams, missed free throws and turnovers are death.

The Beavs had 11 turnovers and shot 72% from the free throw line in routing Utah last night. Improvement in both categories. Thumbs up....
