Steve Coury and his Lake Oswego team are in quite the battle with Central Catholic. Two, quick, LO touchdowns for LO to open the 2nd half evens it up at 28-28. I haven't seen too much of Dukart, but he is a good athlete.
It is surprising that such a successful program as Lake Oswego has so much trouble getting enough participation to field a full complement of football teams at times.

That community is riddled with divisiveness and the school district has had several issues over the past several years. But, football participation is down all over. At least in Oregon.

Lacrosse is attracting a lot of would be football players at metro schools. Give a boy a stick and hes hooked.

LO is also so expensive that there are not enough rich families in the area and their enrollment is starting to shrink.

Did Sheldon and Jesuit have bad recruiting years? Central Catholic recruits too. And West Linn welcomes kids who have moved into their school district to play for the most well funded sports programs in the state. West Linn's facilities are ridiculous.

Does Oregon City still recruit in basketball. Few years ago there was this great athlete in Bend. Her father "moved" to Oregon City for her to play basketball and then "moved" back to Bend for Track. Did it for three years.

Did it for three years. They used to for Women’s BB. However most of the top players were going to Southridge the last few years. Two top players on my niece’s team in Medford suddenly moved there a couple of years ago.
