I see this was on page 12 of the 2021 thread. Leaving it here - seems it deserves it's own thread with her list down to 5

I feel if we lose her, it will be to Stanford. They always have that "degree from Stanford" card they can play. But I hope the connection to Kennedy Brown and Taylor Jones will work it's magic and she decides to come to Beaverville. Go Beavers !!

It seems like Geno really wants her, which worries me a little. They already have a 5-star wing and a 5-star forward they have five 2020 recruits, so I feel like we can sell minutes better.
It’ll be interesting to see if Simmons can contend for a starting spot in the future. She may be able to play some PG here. She is a pass-first player with elite playmaking ability.

When this young lady graduates from high school, Geno will be 67 years old and Tara will be 68. At some point, and sooner rather than later, high school recruits will start wondering whether the head coach will still be there for all 4 years. If nothing else, that thought will be subtly put into their heads by elite programs whose coach is relatively young, is firmly established, and just happens to be coaching at his alma mater.

Talia does not graduate until 2021 so it's possible she has not completed her paperwork for admission to Stanford.... I know nothing about Talia's academic standing, but I know that wanting to attend Stanford and getting admitted to Stanford are two different animals.... GO BEAVS !!

I'm sure Jamie talks up the Beavs to Talia too. They've trained together in the past with Bryan Edwards.

Talia was at Stanford with our /the 2020 signees and our 2021 commit. It’s too early to be accepted to Stanford it’s usually after Jr year grades

She sure looks and sounds like a great fit for the Beavers.i know that the Stanford 'impression' on most recruits is very positive. However, the decision - beyond just basketball, will be very 'individualized'. No idea what her area of interest would be as regards a professional career... but, look no further than Mikayla and you see a young woman that is getting exactly what she wants at OSU and then going to Medical School. She needs the best 4 year situation - again based on her likes and preferences. I also know that all schools talk about Family, but , maybe with a little bias ... you can see it at OSU- you don't just talk the talk - especially with the Rueck program. Best of luck to her , wherever she ends up!

Stanford has made offers to at least 3 of Oregon State's top targets for 2021. Besides Talia, the other 2 are Payton and Greta. Very tough competition for OSU, but let's hope that one or more of these excellent players will follow Mikayla Pivec's footsteps and decide Oregon State is the right choice for her!
Talia Von Oelhoffen: 5-11 Wing Washington. Ranked #10 ESPN, #27 Prospects Nation. She has visited Stanford. Payton Verhulst: 6-1 Guard, Kansas. Ranked #8 ESPN, #10 Prospects Nation, #5 Blue Star. Greta Kampschroeder: 6-0 Wing, IL. Ranked #12 ESPN, #26 Prospects Nation. #8 Blue Star. She has visited Stanford.

What a ridiculously pretty family. We need her - I'm working on an all-time, all-curls fantasy roster. My first string has Kolbie, Katie Mac, and Trish and I really need another guard.
I'd draft Destiny but she keeps trimming them back - I need 100% commitment from the players I draft.
