Oregon State's most lopsided win of the Wayne Tinkle Era. It is the biggest Beaver win since December 13, 2011.
Oregon State is 6-1. Since starting the 1980-81 season 26-0, no team has had a better seven-game start than 6-1. 2019-20 Oregon State is the ninth Beaver team to start 6-1 since 1980-81. Only two of those nine teams won game eight to go to 7-1. The last time that an Oregon State team started the season 7-1 was 1986 (Gary Payton's freshman season), 33 years ago. If Oregon State beats Portland State, the 2019-20 Beavers would be off to their most lopsided 7-1 start since at least 1979.
The last time that Oregon State started a season 8-1 was 1984 (A.C. Green's senior season). That team started the season 15-1.

My big superlative, the last 10 minutes was 2nd, 3rd string and walk ons. Agreed. Seeing Tres and Ethan play less than 30 mins each was good to see.

My big superlative, the last 10 minutes was 2nd, 3rd string and walk ons. Yeah, but San Jose ended the game in a 10-0 run. I kid.

Green's senior season). That team started the season 15-1. Oregon State is 9-1 for the first time since the 1984-85 team started 15-1. The Beavers are averaging winning by 2.5 ppg more than in 1984-85 and are thus off to their most lopsided 9-1 start since 1979-80. 9-1 is the best start to non-conference play since 1986-87. With a win the Beavers would be off to the best start to non-conference play since 1984-85. No Oregon State team has had a better start to non-conference play since the Beavers were independent in 1961-62 and started 17-1. Oregon State is on a seven-game winning streak, the longest winning streak since the 1992-93 went on a seven-game streak. If the Beavers win tonight, it would be Oregon State's longest win streak since the Beavers' 10 game win streak in 1989-90.

Oregon State is 10-2 for the first time since 2015-16.
If Oregon State can win tonight, the Beavers would be off to their best start in 30 years.

Oregon State is 10-2 for the first time since 2015-16. If Oregon State can win tonight, the Beavers would be off to their best start in 30 years. Best *record*. Thirty years ago the team was considered a top 30 team. Even with this record the current team is top 70.

Biggest win against Arizona since 1989.
At 12-4, Oregon State is off to its best start since 1990 (14-2).
Oregon State has outscored its first four conference opponents in aggregate for the third consecutive year. The last time before 2017-18 was 1992-93. The last time that the Beavers started conference play outscoring their first four opponents in three consecutive seasons was 1979-82.
