OSU replaces Stanford as a number 1 seed for the 2020 NCAA tournament. Of course it's " way too early", but I guess it's roughly equivalent to Charlie Creme of ESPN voting OSU as the number 4 ranked team in the country. He was obviously more impressed with OSU's win over Missouri State compared to Stanford's OT win over Gonzaga. Both OSU and Stanford were at home. www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/bracketology

Stock brokers churn sales to get commissions, sports writers churn stories to meet deadlines and increase interest.
Ask him if he's willing to bet $1,000 on the Beavs ending up the season as a #1 seed and see what he says....
On the other hand, placing the Beavs as a #1 seed shows that the Beavs are a nationally recognized program, have immediate name recognition, and that the experts who know the game and write about it respect the program.... GO BEAVS !!

Creme isn't predicting anything about the TEAMS. He's predicting the COMMITTEE, based on the premise that the tourney is RIGHT NOW. He's just saying that the committee would view our wins against DePaul and Missouri State more than Stanford's OT win against Gonzaga.
Which seems reasonable. And, also, about four months too early to mean a damn thing.
