I was unable to watch the OSU-DePaul game. Am I correct that Kat and Taya played in the game?
If so, did they both seem to get through their playing time without any physical problems?

Taya looked a little rusty, but she contributed with some solid rebounding and she did well helping to break the press. Kat missed her three shots pretty badly, and maybe she was favoring the knee (or maybe it just looked like it to me because that's what I expected). She had one aggressive drive to the basket, which I thought was encouraging.

Taya made some really bad decisions. She led the team with five turnovers in just 20 minutes. On the bright side she had seven rebounds and made her only shot (a three).

She had one aggressive drive to the basket, which I thought was encouraging. Kat looked very tentative and was favoring her knee laterally. Her bread and butter is flasking off screens for quick release shots. Her movement was limited and her release slow for her. I wouldn't be surprised if she had some issues (swelling/soreness) 1-2 days afterward that'll set her back some. Even in warmups she seemed very careful/methodical. But, two of her three shots were bad misses, including an air ball that was well right of the target. The crowd even had a huge groan... long pause... then huge "it's ok, we get it" cheer. It'll be a while before she is even close to herself. She'll have flashes, but overall it'll be very limited. Has anyone heard if they are appealing the 6th year decision?

So in the case of Kat is it likely that if she had been granted the sixth year, she probably would not have played at all this year?

So in the case of Kat is it likely that if she had been granted the sixth year, she probably would not have played at all this year? I don't follow the logic there. She could've sat out this year and redshirted. She's only in her 4th year. She wasn't petitioning for a 6th year, it was for a 5th year. If she had been granted an extra year maybe she would've waited longer to to return to playing this season.
