EFF those little felt bastards and trying to pass! Lol Those little guys and their felt balls. Completing a pass was as complicated and unlikely as you trying to make a point in one of your run-on sentences. I liked when the guy with the ball would just run in circles....or even the wrong way.

What a discovery. Always tested out all the player bases to see which ones were likely to run straight - those guys became the RBs. My friends and I would 'draft' the best bases. Guys who turned hard no matter what would be my OTs, so they could squeeze the LOS.

I liked when the guy with the ball would just run in circles....or even the wrong way. On my set, which I painted to be the Kansas City Chiefs and the Minnesota Vikings, the big kicker was by far the best runner! My linemen were typically the circle dancers, usually with each other.

I tried to explain what a Spiro-graph was to my kids a few years ago. That was a cool deal!

I tried to explain what a Spiro-graph was to my kids a few years ago. That was a cool deal! I loved Spiro-graph!!! That was something I had to go and buy for my kids, the explanations just didn't do it justice. Another item I had to eBay was the Peanut Picture Maker...... Also the very different board game King OilThis brings back some other fond recollections that convinced my kids I was totally an old fart: ViewMaster (the moon landing reels were best!) Spin Art makers Hot wheels tracks/jumps with Car Wash super charger Along with the buzzing football game, how about the Ice Hockey game - Rod Hockey? This thread has convinced my I grew up in the best of times - pre-cell phone, texting, internet, video games.......note that I enjoy the heck out of several of those technologies and conveniences, its just they seem to have made childhood much more "sophisticated" and taken away the period of blissful unawareness that I recall wistfully. Let me go put on some Billy Joel and try to have him remind me that "the good old days weren't always good and tomorrow's not as bad as it seems" :-).
