DePaul has put up big scores in their 2 counting games so far.
98-79 over Miami of Ohio 81-57 over Drexel
It'll be interesting to see whether the game will also be high scoring. Should be a legitimate test for OSU's #7 ranking.

8-9 players are seeing double digit minutes, 12-13 are playing 5+. They like to utilize their bench for sure.

8-9 players are seeing double digit minutes, 12-13 are playing 5+. They like to utilize their bench for sure. As did Pacific, so they could maintain the high-intensity D that gives us trouble. Learning to handle that pressure is probably the most important hurdle to overcome if we are to have a great season. Hope it happens tonight!

Big test tonight to see if the Beavs are a top 20 team (without a couple important cogs---Taya and Kat). Even if they were to play, my guess would be that they aren't in total basketball strength and ready to play extended minutes. The freshman playing solid tonight may be the key to this game (along with smarter passing, and better D). I think this may be a real test for this team considering the current player availability.

It’s shaping up to be BEAVS height advantage v. DePaul depth.
DePaul has no frequent player> 6’1’ . They have a deep bench (Beavs will also, eventually- but w Kat/Taya injuries, not so much).
Question is: will this be like the A&M game last season in Hawaii....or a 2019/2020 early season STATEMENT game?

I am glad Mik is on our side. The height, with the ranking, could mean speed to the rack and three point specialists. Hope we can crowd them outside.

Good Luck tonight! I'd love to have the PAC-12 have 3 top 5 teams to start conference play and finish the season with the possibility of 3 top seeds! This is the deepest the conference has ever been. Iron sharpens Iron and should help to push the conference to greatness. Side note, I watched Gulich shine today in a victory for Germany over Macedonia where she dominated the paint (They play Croatia in the Eurobasket Olympic qualifying tournament Sunday at 10:00 am).
