Has anybody counted the number of times that Sabally and Minyon et.al. turned on the speed and went past their defenders on the right side of the lane for a layup? Seemed to me that this happened a lot in the UO/TUSA game. Would it be advantageous to play the defense a little wider on the right side and force the offensive player to drive up the middle, instead, where it's more crowded and there would be more help? When playing these quick players, it seems that once they get their shoulder past the defender on the right then they have an easy layup: Dribbling with their dominant hand away from the defender, and able to shoot with their right hand with less fear of it being blocked. Seems like something could be done, and needs to be done, since our matchups don't always have the quickness to handle a Minyon Moore or a Sabally. We handled Moore fine last year. While she scored 21 points in an OSU blowout win at SC a good chunk was in garbage time. In a closer game at Gill Moore was held to 2 points.

Anything Oregon related brings out the ugly in the beaver fanbase. Unfortunate and sad, but true and very real. That was probably one of those posters jumping for joy when Hebard got hurt last year in Corvallis. They forget these are young women just playing the sport they love, and are actually even friends with people in our team. Wrong... brings it out in a very small portion of the Beaver fan base. The rest of us are more mature. I personally don't like they morality that has disappeared from that institution... mainly in the athletic department... but, I'm no different than many that work there. Some of the ridiculous comments made on this board just have to be ignored. Petty, immature, uninformed, but unfortunately they are seen to represent our fan base. Holy cow, don't fall out of that ivory tower there bud! They are not seen as representing our fan base any more than the trolls from tsdtr are seen as representing that institution. It's college sports, it's normal, no one should be executed for being biased, there are jerks everywhere, it's not terminal.. Lighten up francis...

And, most are intelligent enough to know the difference of rivalry and harmless banter. Stated the simple fact that the over the top statements do not in any way rep the large majority of OSU fans as was implied in the post I quoted. So, maybe actually jump off your tower of BS and read quotes in context? ❄

You hate 18-22 year old girls because they go to a school you don’t support? Sweet Anything Oregon related brings out the ugly in the beaver fanbase. Unfortunate and sad, but true and very real. They forget these are young women just playing the sport they love, and are actually even friends with people in our team. Dont be an idiot. Nobody “jumped for joy” over Hebard’s injury. I defy you to link to such a post. It would have to be a link to your imagination, which is thankfully not linkable.

Yet, his imagination can't be cited just as you can't prove a fan(s) didn't enjoy that injury. I'd bet... there was at least one who did. Read some of the posts here, not a stretch.

I mean to say this very quietly ....but here it goes. DuckS prove that it is indispensable to not have a true point guard.

"DuckS prove that it is indispensable to not have a true point guard" Did you word this incorrectly by chance?
