I hate them and I will NEVER respect them... the target is on their backs - they have everything to lose, may the pressure cause them to fold like a cheap suit! We are only going to get better, they can only go down !

How effective was Minyon Moore in replacing their spanish guard? Fairly effective. Cazorla probably provided some intangibles as well as clutch shooting and another playmaker, but Moore seems to fit right in. I don't think they'll miss a beat w/ that exchange.

I’m sorry. This thread does not belong on the OSU women’s sports board. Neither of the teams in this game are OSU.

In all fairness to the USA team, they played #3 a week ago, then #7 two days later. On Thursday, they played #6 Texas A&M and then two days later they are back in Eugene to play #1 Oregon. Are they as fired up to be playing the #1 ranked college team in the country as the #1 team is to play them? I don't think so. Hats off to the ducks for getting it done, but I didn't see the intensity I saw in Gill last Monday from Team USA. MB.

This game was an oddity compared to the others. The other 3 exhibitions were closer after Q1, then U.S. pulled away. This was the opposite. Biggest lead for U.S. at the end of the 1st, obviously the lead didn't hold up.

We are only going to get better, they can only go down ! You hate 18-22 year old girls because they go to a school you don’t support? Sweet Anything Oregon related brings out the ugly in the beaver fanbase. Unfortunate and sad, but true and very real. That was probably one of those posters jumping for joy when Hebard got hurt last year in Corvallis. They forget these are young women just playing the sport they love, and are actually even friends with people in our team.

I don't think that's the case here, I mean Sue Bird was even pretty open about one specific player she was looking forward to playing this whole tour. Nneka looked like she was playing for house money in the first half, I was actually surprised how intense and physical she got. Kelsey Plum came in for a few minutes and got schooled right away If anything this game looked more serious to them than last weeks where they were just loose and having fun.

The rest of us are more mature. I personally don't like they morality that has disappeared from that institution... mainly in the athletic department... but, I'm no different than many that work there. Some of the ridiculous comments made on this board just have to be ignored. Petty, immature, uninformed, but unfortunately they are seen to represent our fan base.

If USA doesn’t have A’ja Wilson against us and Stanford, and Sylvia Fowles gets in foul trouble, it’s a much closer ball game.

They are very good period. Cannot root for them but they are a fluid team with good bigs. Will be hard for us.We must take better care of the Ball. We were poor last Night in that area. We need to be at full strength to compete. I give them props. They have built a monster team.

Has anybody counted the number of times that Sabally and Minyon et.al. turned on the speed and went past their defenders on the right side of the lane for a layup? Seemed to me that this happened a lot in the UO/TUSA game. Would it be advantageous to play the defense a little wider on the right side and force the offensive player to drive up the middle, instead, where it's more crowded and there would be more help? When playing these quick players, it seems that once they get their shoulder past the defender on the right then they have an easy layup: Dribbling with their dominant hand away from the defender, and able to shoot with their right hand with less fear of it being blocked. Seems like something could be done, and needs to be done, since our matchups don't always have the quickness to handle a Minyon Moore or a Sabally.
