Game Notes are now available for the UC-Irvine game. One interesting thing is it looks like the Monday WNIT game is set for 7pm, but typos happen..... Also cool to see how Mik is approaching Syd and Marie levels in areas like rebounds and FTs. And how Aleah is close to Kat-like numbers on 3 point accuracy. Go Beavers!

UC-Irvine is picked first in the Big West preseason coaches poll. Obviously this conference is much lower quality than the Pac 12, but the team must have some abilities. They are presumably much better than the two exhibition opponents.

Unless I’m mis-reading, UC Irvine is topped out at 6’3” on their frontline. Hopefully Taya Corosdale will return to action for this ‘first’ counting game - but at any rate, the two freshmen front court players (Brown / Jones) should have ample opportunity to cash in.

Yes and she comes off the bench. (Or at least did in their opener). They started a 5'11 forward (Sanders) and a 6'2 center (Garza). Sanders also took 19 shots in 32 minutes. ucirvinesports.com/documents/2019/11/5//SJSU_UCI_Box.pdf

Based on what Scott said at the Rebounders event yesterday, I wouldn't look to see Taya for a few more weeks.
