I am surprised with just 9 going. Is that the everyone sans the 15 going to App State? Next weekend is Mike Clock, maybe some are waiting for that event?

Unfortunately I can't say I was blown away by anyone. Garcia at 157 and Uyesaka at 125 did show some promise. I missed the match where Garcia lost. Otherwise, rest of the young guys were pretty overmatched the first time out. I'd say the best wrestler I saw overall Saturday was Shaner out of Clackamas at 133. Rolled through the competition. Was JC AA last year.
Pretty much all the same schools will be back next weekend along with N. Idaho CC in Forest Grove. Hopefully we get a few more guys back next week and hopefully the others show some growth after getting the first one out of the way.
