7 Pac 12 teams were in action tonight. Utah lost by 6 to Cincinnati, everybody else won by double digits (Stanford, UCLA, Arizona St., Arizona, USC, Washington St.) I streamed most of the Stanford and Arizona games and saw little bits and pieces of a few others. Some sloppy play as can be expected at the beginning of the season. Somehow Stanford let a BAD Eastern Washington team hang around for the first quarter (18-10), then they just buried them. 92-27 final and EWU shot 14% from the floor. Maybe the most surprising result to me was Wazzu clobbering what I thought was a middle of the road WCC team in Pepperdine. Maybe the Cougs will be improved in their second year under Coach Etheridge. Basketball season is finally officially here!
