Mannen just came in to the loudest cheers of the game
She did well. Stayed with the plays on offense and in front of her player on defense. A couple solid minutes

Thanks for the updates and opinions. Can't wait to see them in person. Donated seats for the first couple of games, but will try - to hit every one we can . Freshman will apparently make a real difference at a couple positions of need - plus, we should gain talented depth over the pre- season and after the start.

I liked what I saw in the game.
Kennedy and Jones passing to each other is so well done. They've played together? Seems like, since they are friends.
Trish has got some scoring moves too now.
Jas is looking good with the fast break. Hope this can keep up through the season.
Twice Destiny made a move to pull a player off of her teammate and then passed for an easy layup. Another time she made a move toward the basket and then did a step back for an easy three. All of this so smoothly, and seemingly effortlessly. She's just so much fun to watch.
Mik was Mik, enough said.
Aleah is a little tighter with her defense.
Maddie is more aggressive on the rebounds.
Thropay seems quicker this year. Think maybe she's gotten leaner?
Coach kept going with different twin towers combo's and they all looked good. Got some fast bigguns and they make it work...so far anyway.

A couple thoughts on today's game. Granted the competition wasn't great but some parts of the game are consistent regardless of who you are playing.
Mik, Destiny, and Aleah have all said in the last few weeks that the guards are going to have to play better defense and in particular to stay in front of their opponent. That turns out to be the most obvious issue today. They are playing on the side and not always the strong side of their woman. Jaz did a good job for the most part. Interestingly Noelle played a step off but stayed in good position between her man and the basket. She appears to have a solid game. I'm not expecting her to get much time this year or maybe even next year but as an upper classman maybe.
For a freshman Jones is a monster. She has some serious size from her legs to her shoulders including her core. She was able to keep her position even when she was being double teamed. Give her a year or two with or strength and conditioning staff and she could be force to be reckoned with.
Brown plays like a true 4, I know she wants to be a 3 but today she was better as a high post. I really liked it when Rueck had Jones and Brown playing side by side at the free throw line. Their passing to each other was fun to watch.
